Idaho Selects Federal Engineering For Statewide NG9‑1‑1 Project
FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, April 8, 2019 — The State of Idaho Division of Purchasing (DOP), on behalf of the Idaho Military Division (IMD), has selected Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) to provide NG9‑1‑1 consultation, evaluation, and development services to support the State’s migration to the new, NG9‑1‑1 system.
Mr. A. Craig Logan the Project Manager for Idaho said: “This multiyear project will have a major impact on how we provide emergency services to the citizens of Idaho. We want to leverage the latest technologies and implement a standards-based system. Federal Engineering was selected because they have a great deal of NG9-1-1 experience having completed similar projects for the states of Ohio, Utah, Montana, North Carolina, and South Dakota as well as numerous local jurisdictions. Their team of experts will provide technical, financial, regulatory, and operational advice, including assistance in planning, implementation, operation, maintenance, support, evolution, and enhancement of NG9-1-1 across the State.”

- High-level requirements definition

- NG9-1-1 deployment options

- Ongoing project management throughout the transition
