Federal Engineering Awarded Contract By Booz Allen To Support The Department Of Homeland Security
FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, July 8, 2010 — Federal Engineering (FE) has teamed with Booz Allen Hamilton to provide planning, engineering analysis, and subject matter expertise services in support of the Department of Homeland Security, Office of Emergency Communications.
Federal Engineering is providing engineering expertise to the Office of Emergency Communications (OEC). In this role, FE consultants assist the OEC in defining the federal requirements for standards-based technologies, security regulations, spectrum, and interoperability projects. Additionally, FE has been providing planning and coordination efforts to enhance public safety communications along the US-Canada and US-Mexico borders.

Additionally, FE was an active participant in the U.S.-Canada Cross Border Interoperable Communications Workshop and currently supports the Southwest Border Communications Working Group initiatives. ”
