Denver Retains Federal Engineering for Microwave Licensing Support

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, August 1, 2022 – The City and County of Denver, Colorado has retained Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) to assist with researching and modifying their FCC microwave radio network licenses in support of their new radio network.

Mr. Gary Pasicznyk, Project Manager for Denver stated: “Federal Engineering has been supporting Denver with their procurement and implementation of our Project 25, Phase 2 public safety mobile radio system. We rely upon FE for a wide range of technical support including licensing matters.”

Mr. Chuck Hnot, Sr. Vice President of Federal Engineering, described the licensing efforts: “FE provides radio and microwave licensing services on a regular basis. We will perform the following tasks for Denver:

  • Review licenses, assess site information, and determine any differences
  • Analyze path details and links per licenses
  • Validate our findings with the Client
  • Submit requested modifications to Denver’s FCC licenses
  • Monitor FCC progress on the submitted requests for modification

We will continue to be involved in this process until the revised FCC licenses are issued.”
