Federal Engineering to Present at the 2017 APCO International Annual Conference

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, July 24, 2017 — Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) is proud to participate, once again, in the APCO International Annual Conference. FE’s Neil Horden and Sherri Bush have been invited to present at this year’s conference which will be held August 13-17 in Denver, CO. The APCO International Annual Conference is the premier event for Public Safety Communications professionals.

Mr. Neil Horden serves as Chief Consultant at Federal Engineering. He is a 34-year veteran of the wireless communications industry and began his career with Federal Engineering in 2004. Mr. Horden is a member of APCO and serves on their Commercial Advisory Council. He is also a member of NENA, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and the Radio Club of America (RCA). Mr. Horden serves on MissionCritical Communications magazine’s editorial advisory board. He presents regularly at APCO and NENA national and regional conferences, as well as the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE).

Ms. Sherri Bush is FE’s PSAP Technical Lead. Ms. Bush possesses extensive experience in specifications development and procurement support for PSAP systems as well as project management for successful implementations. She has been involved in PSAP management, facility designs, operations assessments, technology recommendations, and staffing analyses with substantial experience in the consolidation of communications centers. Her project management experience includes voice/data interoperability planning, ESInet, and NG9- 1-1 requirements definition, procurement, and implementation. Ms. Bush is a member of NENA, previously was a 2-term chapter president, and is an Emergency Number Professional (ENP). She is also a member of the E9-1-1 Institute, the Virginia Chapter of National Association of Telecommunications Officers Advisors (VATOA), and APCO.
