Federal Engineering Teams with CityScape Consultants for Borough of Franklin Park Project

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, July 15, 2024 – The Borough of Franklin Park, Pennsylvania announced that they have selected CityScape Consultants Inc. (CityScape) and Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) to develop a borough-wide emergency and wireless telecommunications infrastructure master plan. This project will include a review of wireless coverage within Franklin Park with the goal of improving wireless coverage for citizens as well as emergency responders and public services providers.

CityScape Consultants, Vice-President of Planning and Project Management Ms. Susan Rabold, stated: “Over the years, CityScape and FE have established a wonderful working relationship, partnering together on multiple substantial projects and we are excited to embark on another collaboration. Together, we offer comprehensive consulting services for navigating the complexities of the ever-changing telecommunications industry. CityScape helps clients assess their current wireless environment by analyzing coverages, identifying gaps in services and illustrating alternatives through suggested conceptual designs.”

Mr. Brad Barber, Vice President of Federal Engineering’s Wireless Practice, explained: “FE will focus on the public safety aspects of the wireless coverage for the Borough of Franklin Park throughout the jurisdiction’s service area. Our analysis will culminate in recommendations to meet the current and future needs of first responders and public service agencies within the overall structure of a comprehensive wireless infrastructure master plan for Franklin Park that we will develop in concert with CityScape. Additionally, FE can assist clients with procurement, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, implementation and construction, and cutover to new systems.”
