Federal Engineering Selected by New Hanover County for Dispatch Systems Implementation Oversight Services
FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, August 25, 2025 – Representatives from New Hanover County, in Wilmington, North Carolina have chosen Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) to provide consulting services for the deployment of the County’s new Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Mobile Data (MDS), Records Management (RMS), and Justice Management (JMS) systems.
Mr. Sunny Hwang, Chief Information Officer for New Hanover County, commented: “New Hanover County is deeply engaged in a CAD/Mobile/RMS/JMS upgrade project, having completed the needs assessment and procurement processes, working with another consulting firm. The County is now seeking a new firm to assist in the completion of this project, to support contract negotiations, and guide the implementation phase.
