FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, February 10, 2025 – Emery County, Utah has chosen Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) to conduct a 9-1-1 call transfer rate analysis of the County’s Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP). The proposed services will include a statistical analysis of the emergency communication center’s call history and evaluation of factors that may impact the ability to meet the minimum requirements of a 2% or less transfer rate as required by Utah State Code.

Sgt. Robert Riley, Project Manager for the Emery County Sheriff’s Office stated: “We are pleased to announce that we have selected Federal Engineering to review our current policies, procedures, and intergovernmental agreements and to identify issues affecting our overall call processing performance.
