FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, June 29, 2015 — Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) expands its support of the Public Safety Land Mobile Radio industry through its membership in the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA).

Federal Engineering has been supporting TIA’s Mobile and Personal Private Radio Standards Engineering Committee (TR-8) for many years through client engagements. The TR-8 Committee formulates and maintains standards for private radio communications systems and equipment for both voice and data applications. This year Federal Engineering joined TIA as a direct member.

Bosco, Federal Engineering’s President stated: “Federal Engineering considers the TIA’s efforts very  important to public safety communications.” Mr. Bosco continued: “For the past 32 years, FE has been an advocate of first responders, supporting advancements in the communications networks they rely upon and we are pleased to lend our vendor-neutral technical resources to TIA’s efforts in moving wireless technology forward.”
