Elmore County Awards Federal Engineering a Contract for CAD and RMS Consulting Services

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, October 19, 2020 — Elmore County, Idaho has awarded Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) a contract to assess the County’s user needs regarding computer aided dispatch (CAD) and records management.

Mr. Jeffrey Paré, FE Senior Account Executive, provided an overview of the project: “Federal Engineering has completed hundreds of similar projects and will apply our proven methodologies to Elmore County. FE’s technical experts will interview County staff and stakeholder groups to discuss current business processes and the existing systems. We will assess operational workflows and integration with external applications and databases. Federal Engineering’s data collection and requirements discovery methodology will accurately determine the needs of the County’s first responders, telecommunicators, records custodians, property clerks, command staff, and detention officers. FE will then deliver the Elmore County, Idaho CAD/Mobile/RMS Needs Assessment and High-level Requirements Report to document our findings and make appropriate recommendations.”

Sergeant Michael Pray, Project Manager for the Sheriff’s Department stated: “Federal Engineering has been assisting the County by assessing our public safety radio infrastructure needs, and advocating changes which will better serve our citizens. We have awarded them this CAD/RMS contract based upon their outstanding efforts on the radio project and detailed understanding of our operations.”
