City of Peterborough Chooses Federal Engineering for NG911 Consulting Services
FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, April 12, 2021 – The City of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada has chosen Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) to assist in the procurement of NG911 solutions for the City.

Mr. Richard Freymond, Commissioner, Corporate and Legislative Services, for the City stated: “The City is seeking Consulting services to develop an RFP to acquire an NG9-1-1 vendor solution for the City of Peterborough after performing a gap and needs assessment to assess PSAPs readiness to transition to NG911. Federal Engineering will be completing the following assessments for us:
- CPE equipment
- Network including performance
- Cybersecurity
- ESInet
- Utilization and call flow
- Call logging and recording
- Personnel
The firm will then deliver an Emergency Services IP Network Assessment and Recommendations Report that will serve as the basis for an RFP to procure NG911 services and equipment.”
