Belleville Ontario Awards Federal Engineering NG911 Consulting Contract

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, April 4, 2022 – City of Belleville, Ontario, Canada has awarded Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) a contract for public safety Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) consulting services.

Deputy Fire Chief Paul Patry of the Belleville Fire & Emergency Services provided an overview of the project: “We have contracted with Federal Engineering to conduct an NG9-1-1 needs assessment and deliver an NG9-1-1 Readiness Report detailing the findings and recommendations to support the transition to an NG9-1-1 solution. This comprehensive project will include data collection, site assessments, personnel interviews, network analysis, cybersecurity assessment, call flow analysis, call logging/recording systems review, and an assessment of personnel. We look forward to their recommendation when, at the end of this project, FE issues the City of Belleville Fire and Emergency Services IP Network Assessment and Recommendations Report.”
