Federal Engineering to Present at the 2018 Virginia Public Safety Communications Conference and Exposition
FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, October 1, 2018 — Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) has announced the invitation of Chief Consultant, Neil Horden to present at the 10th Annual Statewide APCO-NENA Interoperability Conference, which will be held October 24 to October 26, 2018, during the 2018 Virginia Public Safety Communications Conference and Exposition in Roanoke, Virginia.
FE’s President, Ronald F. Bosco commented; “Federal Engineering is proud of its longstanding and successful relationship with the Public Safety Communications Community in Virginia. Our highly experienced team members are invaluable resources to public safety within Virginia and across the nation. Through our work with numerous jurisdictions in the Commonwealth, we have developed insights that are unique to the region and particularly relevant. FE is proud to be invited to speak and pass on this knowledge to the Virginia chapters of NENA and APCO and their members.”
FE’s Chief Consultant, Neil Horden will be presenting a session entitled Project Lifecycle Management on Friday October 26 at 9:45 am. This session will address one of the most difficult points in the lifecycle of a system. Aging equipment, technology obsolescence, and limited parts availability often drive the need to replace a system that, to the end-users, appears to be working well. This interactive session discusses the insights from recent projects and best practices for dealing with the many issues involved in this often-overlooked phase of the system lifecycle.
