Federal Engineering to Present at the 31st Annual Illinois Public Safety Telecommunications Conference

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, October 12, 2015 — Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) will be presenting at the 31st Annual Illinois Public Safety Telecommunications Conference, to be held in Springfield, Illinois on November 1 – 4, 2015. The conference is sponsored by the Illinois Public Safety Telecommunications Association a not-for-profit corporation that was authorized by the Illinois APCO and INENA Boards and continues to be one of the largest and best attended events in the country.

Mr. Bosco added: “Mr. Neil Horden, Chief Consultant, will present an informative session on Tuesday, November 3rd from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. entitled “Planning a Successful System Procurement”, where he will discuss his insights gained from experience working with numerous public agencies in specifying and procuring communications systems. Mr. Horden has been involved in billions of dollars in successful radio system procurements and he has been invited to speak on this critical topic often.”

Mr. Horden serves as Chief Consultant at Federal Engineering. He is a 30-year veteran of the wireless communications industry and began his career with Federal Engineering in 2004. Prior to joining FE, he held various positions at a major radio equipment manufacturer including Systems Engineering, Sales Engineering and Product Management. Mr. Horden is a member of APCO and serves on their Commercial Advisory Council. He is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and the Radio Club of America (RCA). Mr. Horden serves on MissionCritical Communications magazine’s editorial advisory board. In addition, he participates in several National Public Safety Telecommunications (NPSTC) working groups, and presents regularly at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) and APCO conferences.
