Federal Engineering to Provide Public Safety Radio Consulting to Mono County

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, April 22, 2019 — Mono County, California has awarded Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) a contract to provide consulting services and recommend the future course of the County’s public safety mobile radio system.

In announcing the contract, Mr Nate Greenberg, Director of Information Technology for the County, said: “We look forward to having Federal Engineering serve as Mono County’s trusted advisor. FE will work with the County to set a strategic direction for enhancing our existing public safety radio system and identify tasks required to move in that direction. The firm will assist the County in the assessment of our VHF analog system, including evaluating our mountain top sites. In addition to the existing system analysis, FE will perform coverage studies to identify alternatives for enhancing system performance.”
