Twin Falls Awards Federal Engineering Contract for Public Safety Radio Procurement Assistance

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, December 17, 2018 — The City of Twin Falls, Idaho has awarded Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) a contract to provide technical support and guidance for the upgrade of the City’s 450 MHz radio system.

Ms. Kathy Markus, Project Manager for Twin Falls, said: “This project is a major investment for our City and we want to make sure we are getting the right system. We selected Federal Engineering because of the firm’s background, experience, and reputation in the industry. We are pleased to have them on our team as we move forward with system procurement activities.

Mr. Ronald F. Bosco, FE’s President and CEO, provided an overview: “Federal Engineering will apply our experience with billions of dollars in radio systems procurements to this project. We will actively participate in the entire procurement cycle from a review of the City’s RFP through the selection of a vendor. FE will assist the City with the review of vendor proposals. We will generate requests for proposal clarifications and assist the City in developing and applying scoring criteria. FE will participate in proposal evaluation meetings with the City to assist with evaluations. We will also develop a compliance/evaluation memorandum for each vendor proposal. Because of our vendor independence, we will serve as the City’s trusted advisor on an ongoing basis.”
