Federal Engineering to Present at the 34th Annual Illinois Public Safety Telecommunications Association Conference

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, October 24, 2018 — Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) Chief Consultant Neil Horden is scheduled to present at the 34th Annual Illinois Public Safety Telecommunications Association Conference, to be held in Springfield, Illinois on November 4 – 7, 2018. The Illinois Public Safety Telecommunications Association Conference sponsored by Illinois APCO & INENA continues to be one of the largest and best events in the country.

“Federal Engineering is always happy to lend support to APCO and NENA chapters by sharing our experiences and providing information and continuing education,” said Ronald F. Bosco, FE’s President and CEO. He continued; “We are especially proud to again be included in the Illinois Public Safety Telecommunications Association Conference. We believe this as a very important event for Public Safety Telecommunications and gladly provide insights from our experience across the country”.

FE’s Chief Consultant, Neil Horden will present an informative session entitled “System Contract Negotiations”, where he will discuss his insights gained from assisting many public agencies in negotiating the procurement of communications systems. As a recognized industry thought leader, he has been invited to speak on this critical topic at other national level conferences. This informative session will be held on Monday November 5, at 3:25 pm.

Mr. Neil Horden serves as Chief Consultant of Federal Engineering’s consulting practice. Neil is a 35-year veteran of the wireless communications industry and began his career with Federal Engineering in 2004. Mr. Horden is a member of APCO and NENA, and a board member of the NG9-1-1 Institute. He is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the Radio Club of America (RCA), and is serving on the APCO Commercial Advisory Council. Mr. Horden serves on MissionCritical Communications magazine’s editorial advisory board. He presents regularly at NENA and APCO national and regional conferences, as well as the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE).
