FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, October 1, 2014 — Yadkin County, NC has awarded Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) a contract to provide telecommunications and technology consulting for the upgrade of the County’s public safety mobile communications. FE will take this project from initial planning through installation and commissioning.

Mr. Ronald F. Bosco, FE’s President, said: “FE will provide the following services to the County:

2. System Recommendations
   • Coverage assessment
   • FCC license data assimilation
   • Conceptual system and coverage Design

3. VHF Network Procurement Support
   • RFP specification development
   • Evaluation criteria and worksheets generation
   • Vendor proposals evaluations
   • Contract negotiations support
4. Implementation Support
   • Vendor design reviews
   • Project management support
   • Independent punch list maintenance and resolution tracking
   • Acceptance testing and independent validation and verification”
