Federal Engineering’s Neil Horden Reelected to The Project 25 Technology Interest Group Board of Directors
FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, April 20, 2015 —Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) Chief Consultant, Neil Horden, has been reelected to the Project 25 Technology Interest Group (PTIG) Board of Directors.
Mr. Horden continues in his 5th years as a member of the Board of Directors of PTIG. Previous to his election to the Board of Directors in 2010, Mr. Horden held the position of PTIG Program Manager from 2003 through 2009, guiding the day-to-day operation of the organization.
The Project 25 Technology Interest Group is an industry advocacy organization whose mission is to advance the design, manufacture, evolution, and effective use of technologies defined by the Project 25 standardization process. PTIG provides the opportunity for its members to participate in decisions that influence the future of critical public safety communications systems.

Mr. Horden serves as Chief Consultant of Federal Engineering’s consulting practice headquartered in Fairfax, VA. Neil is a 30-year veteran of the wireless communications industry and began his career with Federal Engineering in 2004. Prior to joining FE, he was a Technology Strategy Manager with Motorola’s Cellular Subscriber Division. While with Motorola, he held various position in the Land Mobile Products Sector and iDEN Subscriber division, including Systems Engineering, Sales Engineering and Product Management.
Mr. Horden is a member of APCO and servers on their Commercial Advisory Council. He is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and the Radio Club of America (RCA). Mr. Horden serves on the MissionCritical Communications magazine editorial advisory board. In addition, he participates in several National Public Safety Telecommunications (NPSTC) working groups.
Federal Engineering provides a wide range of design and management services in public safety and public service communications involving LTE as well as traditional VHF, UHF, 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz and 4.9GHz mobile radio systems. FE also assists in the design and implementation of NG9-1-1, PSAPs, ECCs, and EOCs.
