Federal Engineering to Participate in 5G North America 2016 Conference

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, October 31, 2016 — Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) has, once again, been invited to participate in the 5G North America 2016 Conference (formerly the LTE North America Conference), to be held on November 14-16, 2016 in Dallas, TX. This 9th annual conference will be packed with cutting edge content, new product demonstrations and unrivalled opportunities to meet with the LTE and 5G ecosystem.

Mr. Bosco continued: “Federal Engineering has been involved in billions of dollars in public safety communications projects for jurisdictions across North America. Through our participation in this important conference, we will share lessons learned in the application of new and evolving communications technologies. Mr. Horden, will be moderating an interactive panel on Tuesday, November 15th from 12:40 p.m. – 1:10 p.m. entitled: Overcoming the Interconnection Challenge and Examining How Different Networks Will Co-exist. The panel will consist of industry leaders and will address a variety of timely topics including:

  • Understanding the unique values delivered by different network technologies
  • Implementation of IP-based interconnection systems between networks
  • Leveraging traditional LMR and LTE network capabilities”

Mr. Horden is a 30+ year veteran of the wireless communications industry and began his career with Federal Engineering in 2004. Prior to joining FE, he held various positions at a major radio equipment manufacturer including Systems Engineering, Sales Engineering and Product Management. Mr. Horden is a member of the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO) and serves on their Commercial Advisory Council. He is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and the Radio Club of America (RCA). Mr. Horden is a member of Project 25 Technology Interest Group (PTIG) Board of Directors and serves on MissionCritical Communications magazine’s editorial advisory board. He also participates in National Public Safety Telecommunications (NPSTC) working groups, and presents regularly at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) and APCO conferences.
